MSC Servers Scheduled for Termination

Unfortunately, Nintendo is terminating its online services for titles on the Nintendo Wii and Nintendo DS. May 20th 11:00 PM is doomsday in Japan. It will be May 20th 6:00 AM pacific time and 9:00 AM East Coast time.

Str1kr.com will host the final MSC tournament, so please stay active on the website and on the chatroom for updates of this final tournament.

Additionally, there will be the final striker of the day. Whoever obtains the final striker of the day will truly hold a place in MSC history. The hearts of many online Wii gamers reside with MSC, so expect some incredibly fierce competition for this prestigious title if you choose to compete for it. Keep in mind it is likely striker of the day will be hacked on the last day, so whoever has the highest non-hacked score on the leaderboard will be the final striker of the day. If the times given by Nintendo are correct then there will be only 6 hours in the early morning to compete for the final striker of the day.

Lets make the most of the time we have left in this game; the final tournament and striker of the day will be great. Take comfort in knowing that MSC will finally come to an end, and be taken out of its misery. (The community has been on its last legs for awhile).

sad to hear but not totally unexpected. il be down for the final tournament and anything else involved with this, just keep me updated on skype when the time comes. thanks shadow

On the last week, as you said should change our online name to "GoodbyeMSC" or "MSCForever" just to show our love for the game. The day the game will be shutdown is on a Tuesday. Chances are with most people won't be online because of school and work. So, I think we should have the final SOTD on a Saturday or a Sunday. Just a suggestion. And I'll inform my group about the final tournament.

Uhhh Nintendo decides when to shut the servers down, not us. The final striker of the day will be the day nintendo terminates its servers for MSC. You can't just declare which striker of the day is the last one, it has to be the actual last one.. which will be May 20th.

Im so sad this is happening. Ive been playing this game online forever, since the day it came out. There has been no game like it. They better come out with a new strikers atleast to compensate. I will miss the online experience with this game. Anyone who is up for matches message me

If you wanna play matches its a better idea to come to chat box at xat.com/str1kr2 or we have a facebook page called str1kr or sumthn, mostly were playin friendlies to practice for the AGON doomsday tournament hosted by tangy for which there is a post here on forums.
People still around are like berble, shadowinvadr, julien, and more are expected to return for the doomsday tournament in the next 2 months.
