I am really getting annoyed with the rampant shyguy use lately. His sweet spot for setups is huge, and his deke mindgames like crazy. People abuse the shit out of his ability to score from the corner with a red ball, and are constantly getting free goals off his skillshot by spamming home. Plus he can actually pass the ball without an auto steal making him fucking flawless in every aspect. I think we may need a new limit on how many shyguys you can have on a team. It's seriously bullshit.

I agree, the recent influx of 3 shyguy teams is shattering the metagame. Really his OP abilities are quite intuitive. Other characters have strengths but are seriously lacking in other aspects. Shyguy has decent stats EVERYWHERE. The infamous boo glitch is frail in comparison to Shyguy's Truffle Shuffle technique.

Quad meds is the absolute WORST to play against. I first started realizing how op it was when I saw Coly using two shyguys on an alt team. I think the part that doesn't sit well with me is that they are so easy to use. Sure their tactics are intuitive because of their creativity, but they are extremely simple to perform making tricksters and even other shooters have to work harder for their goals by comparison. It's extremely frustrating to make a hard read on an opponent and barely get off an opposite side serve it in, only to watch the shy guy use his op deke on the next start off to completely dodge your defense and use a skillshot to score. Lastly, and this puts the topping on the fucking cake, I've even seen shyguy used successfully as a replacement for monty in teams using a luigig glitch. It's just enfuriating.

I fear the worst is upon us. It has just been discovered that Shyguy can activate the boo glitch. Its only a matter of time before every team on ranked play has 3 shyguy. In order to preserve the meta we should have a limit of ONE shyguy per team. In addition, the following moves with shyguy should be banned:

Skill Shot
Lugig glitch with shyguy alt
Boo glitch activated by shyguy
Truffle Shuffle
Dekeing
Any charge shot above yellow charge
Red shots from the corner.

This willl begin to nerf shyguy, but he will still be a staple on every team even with these stipulations.

**NOTE** Maorio teams may be able to use shyguys as a birdo alt but I will have to look into it more.

Tbh, I'd put a limit on the number of goals he can score in a match as well.

It's lolable, gives him the mobility of a boo and the shot percentage of a DK or birdo from the corner. It even looks like he's being used in an extremely unorthodox maorio set up here too. This is what happens when you use three meds; smh.

And that was the TOP Waluigi player from the CSC Regionals in the North West. And he was completely helpless against the Truffle Shuffle. Whats worse is that when you have 3 shy guys on the field they ALL get DK air priority in addition to all the home priority they already have regardless of which side theyre on. If you're running 3 shyguy it is actually impossible to intercept the ball off them.

There is nothing special about this goal at all. The goal in the video
isn't even achieved through deking. The first goal went in because it
was just a decent charged shot, the second goal went in because of the
proximity to the keeper - absolutely nothing to do with deking. Any
player can score the second goal if you are that close to the keeper
that the keeper comes off his line to get you, then you shoot at exactly
the right moment before he tackles you.

Bump, the problem is really getting out of hand. All Shyguy abusers will be PERMANENTLY banned from the chat room and forums.
