Every elite msc player that has ever touched the game is transported to 2013. All the inactive and long gone players are now at their prime competing against every other generation at their prime. There are no "rusty" johns. Its the worlds largest round robin so there is no worry about a one game fluke tweaking results. For the first time we see epic wt bug vs. Scruffs. We see all players battling it out in their prime, playing every other player.

in this hypothetical scenario what players come out on top? What generation, regardless of their year, dominates the most? I'm curious. Do the old school stack up to the 2013 meta? Is the 2013 meta far superior or can the mind games and raw skills of old veterans in their prime outclass the newer Gen?

Our metagame would literally destroy the 07 and 08 metagame. We have so many powerful start off goals to abuse them with. Also our defense is a lot better. Even Arbok commented on the improved defense from the Bay era to the Sky era.

Good question but hard to answer

The tricksters from Bay and Sky would destroy the competition from 07-08 because of many reasons -

Post-'08 is basically '07+'08. They've taken all the tricks and shots and have perfected them. They know all the defenses. It ALMOST renders '07+'08 obsolete. It's the works from the former that leads to the latter.
Post-'08 created more variations of tricks. The tricksters have far better execution (further helped by 7 Goal games - no pressure of beating the clock so they are far more opportunistic).
Hybrid teams are much more common.
Shooting is practically non-existent after '08. The ones who do shoot don't know how. It would be interesting to see a great shooting team in today's day (one would would occasionally trick to put tricksters on their heels sometimes).

In order to be relevant, '07 and '08 would need some huge catching up to do. AFTER that, your question comes into play.

After all the catching up and assuming all the old and new players know everything, then that'd be interesting. Who would come out on top? That's impossible to say.
