| Read the topic title. Basically msc can be divided into generations.
2008 2009 2010 2011
Or you can categorize it by Pre-Bay, Bay, Sky.
Whatever have you. Obviously 2008 players were not as skilled as 2010 players, but in each generation there were players that made significant contributions to the game and revolutionized their msc era.
Who are the most important players throughout the last 4 years?

| From 2008-2010 i wouldnt know, in my opinion the 3 most important players in 2011 are HaLR, Batman, and myself. HaLR and Batman mainly because they are truly the best players in the game. Also, not trying to be a cocky ass nigga, I say myself because I think iI fit the characteristics of what Sky wanted to accomplish, making a new community and finding new players, which I was oen of them that has learned to be legit in a short number of months . But thats IMO | |

| little late to the party but w/e good topic. obviously ntsc only
pre bay
1. bug- truly the first god trickster. was able to perform multiple tricks and was one of the first to main waluigi
2. robz- scariest player back in the day. pretty much the definition of the power shooter. imo if he stuck with msc and learned how to trick/play better defense we would talk about him as one of the best ever
3. zzz- his personality/leadership alone almost makes him top 5 worthy. back when he played he was one of if not the best player.
4. tnm- uses a team that shouldnt be viable but still owned with it. was the first player to display tactics that would dramatically increase shooting %. famously almost took out the entire wt line up when he was in wh.
5. psyco?(several players are equally qualified imo)- great player that inspired a lot of people with vids. He left before bay started which was really where his legacy should have ended lololol.
bay
1. arbok- made the site, was considered (along with scruffs) the best player on it for most of its life-span. He can be stupid sometimes but cant argue with how much he contributed as a figurehead.
2. scruffs- one of the most dominant players ever. he would go on week long stretches where he wouldnt lose series. often contributed to discussion as well as modding. wish he didnt leave for street fighter
3. batman- one of the first members on mscbay and first mod. pretty much was always ranked 3rd after arbok/scruffs.
4. wally me- got insanely good as the site was slowly dying. runs cb, modded chat, funny guy, if he had peaked earlier on he would prolly be higher.
5. julien- really good player and was co owner on bay.
sky
1. cc/halr- co owners on site both got really good while the game was dead.
2. tricks- thought about putting him on the bay list but he got really good after wally did so idk. One of the best overall players ive ever seen. incredibly decision making, good trick execution in tight situations despite not maining tricksters, best shooting accuracy, best defense, great items. only thing that holds him back is motivation.
3. batman- idk, i'd say i split my games vs tricks/halr and have a good win% vs everyone else.
4. tnm- still an amazing shooter. his play has adapted but still uses the same team and doesnt use tricks. hard to rate his skill since he mains a trash team. if he mained dk/bowser he could be like best player ever.
5. treesus/shadow- treesus is pretty impressive imo for someone that is completely new. he has improved a lot and gives really good games. shadow is an awesome guy that has pretty much always been around and always has good performances.

| most memorable player of all time? without a doubt boohead86
Since I haven't been here long enough to give an accurate account of all generations, I'll just list those who were most memorable to me on sky.
CC+HaLR, Yuki, Sothe, Eru, Paolito, Julien, Batman. (This list will be subject to edits).

| For my part, i will not place people on a rank, because I think everyone on batman's lists deserve to be part of the same group called ''memorable players of this generation''. I will simply list the people i remember at their peak from each generation. And to the question: who is the best player of all time? I have to say Scruffs. Old: Psyco, Kira, Brian, ZZZ, MiniM, Tafich, EEf, TNM, Bay: Arbok, Wally me, Scruffs, Batman, Me, Advance melee, Azebul, LuigiBrawl, Matt (maypop), Jacob, Julio, Striken, Robocop, E-Ray, Tricks Now: Shadow, CC, HalR, Nathan, Treesus, Eisen To this, I would add that Batman, TNM and I are the oldest players who still show up online. Arbok doesnt show up anymore, boooh. TNM, being the first one to get really good among us three makes him the oldest player of the moment. ggs TNM. Sorry If I forget people. | |

| Old: Bug, Zzz, Fluxus, Tafich, RobZ, Doctor E, TNM, Kira, Psycofoot, MeercaSotheKelsey, Arbok, Akuma
I can't speak too accurately for Bay since I wasn't there as often, but: Batman, WallyMe, Scruffs, Advance Melee, Tricks, Miles, Arbok
Currently: Treesus, CC, Halr, Pao, Coly, Sothe, Julien, Shadow
And Julien, I've been playing MSC pretty consistently since August of 2007, and I'm betting there are plenty of other players who have the same qualifications.

| Old days: Bug, Fluxus, Robzfresh, myself, Akuma, ARBOK, TNM, Psycofoot, Kira, Zzz(not for his playing ability, but rather he was a memorable character), Tafich, Brian Bay: Never went to bay regularly, so I can't say. Sky(current): HaLR, Treesus, TNM, Yukioh, Shadow, myself(I'm narcissistic ), BM Some people I could just be forgetting. Actually, make that a definite since I know I'm forgetting people. And about Zzz, I honestly don't think he was anything special. I really have no idea why people hold him on a pedestal. | |

| Bay (When I arrived at AP/ST/R/WT/SR/NN days): Fox McCloud: First person i played there, practically my brother and had a ton of great games Cal: Always loved playing his Diddy team, never played anyone else with that good of a Diddy (until BM now) Tgs: His idea of speed shooting with secondary tricks was different and was enjoyable to play against Zizou: Shoot offs, nuff said. Loved our matches
End of Bay Days (cB, LGS, ES/RWE, VF): LuigiBrawl: Best kid to play against. We would go nonstop for an hour somedays it just never got old, always fresh playing against him...Will never forget all the times we went at it back in the day WaLuigi_Me: I could play him non-stop...he showed me the way with my Mario back then. Always great matches once i got to a decent level of play then Koolaidman: Practically my brother too, had the intense matches that I loved playing Tricks: Me and Tricks would have the best matches with Mario vs. Bowser...I miss those days forreal T-Sy: His JR was so fun to play against...i seriously miss playing it and my influence to learn JR
MSCSKY Days: Shadow: Best matches, even thought you always end up winning .-. Batman: Best play I know now, always fun to play against the best of the best Julien: Intense matches...we could play all day if we could Coheed&Cambria: Loved our matches always memorable with his Daisy and Yoshi
